Research & Development Manager

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the R&D Manager is responsible for the research and development of new products and systems that support the company’s commercial direction. This is a senior, stand alone role with the post holder managing all aspects of the development work from conception, development of project proposals, providing a full brief, programme of activity and costs. Candidates will preferably have a construction industry background with the following attributes and experience: Design and development of new products with an understanding of the manufacture and build issues. Qualified in product design. Strong IT literacy particularly using AutoCAD 2002 or later. High degree of self-motivation.

Location:   Nottingham | Rate/Salary   To £35k plus package
